Asien

The systematic cultivation of coffee in Asia probably started already in 1500 in Sri Lanka. It is proven that around 1600 coffee was cultivated commercially for the world market in southern India. 100,000 sacks of coffee were already traded in the ports of the world in 1670.

We have selected four representatives of this old coffee world for you, starting with the classical Indonesian Sumatra, to the most premium Kopi Luwak and finally completed by the unique monsooned coffee from India and the West Blue Java.
